Dox and Oddball were two retired clone troopers during the time of the Rise of the Empire (ROAE), who decided to retire by flying, specifically as smugglers. However, in this case, their ship has crash-landed (it was Oddball's fault, Dox claims), and they are up to their own means to get it flying again...
Previous to this point, in the first part of this Chapter, Dox and Oddball just barely escaped a fiasco at a marketplace where they wer trying to aquire parts. Now, they need a ride back to their downed ship...

Dox And Oddball ROAE Chapter 2
2 Hours Later...
"Dox, we'll never find this Depot if you keep thinking it's around every turn!" Oddball wailed. And he wasn't wrong when he said it; They had gone around every turn in the suburbs, all the while about to blow their cover when they saw an Imperial.
Fortunately, they didn't have to wait much longer.
"Oddy, I think I finally found it" Dox breathed out, also clearly exhausted. "This has got to be it. It can't be anything else."
"About time." Oddball groaned. He went to wipe his forehead, realized he had a helmet on, and thought better of it, putting his hand back down. "I don't see our ride."
"That's because we have to steal one," Dox Reminded him.
"No, I mean there's no speeder bikes. The Republic Depots always had one. I don't see it here."
"WHAT?" Dox almost yelled. "No Speeder Bikes!" That one he DID yell.
"Quiet, you'll rouse the sentry guard." Oddball continued, "And don't worry. We'll steal one of those Troop Transports. You can hotwire it. No big deal."
"Ohhh, FINE." Dox Hopped the fence they were hiding behind.
The two white clad figures snuck as stealthily as a white-clad person possibly could in a desert wasteland. They oh-so-stealthily snuck over the fence, Slipping in-between two of the parked ITTs.
"You keep watch, and I'll try to start this shiny-plate." Dox tried to hide his excitement.
Oddball saw through it anyway. "Sure."
He knew Dox enjoyed maliciously 'slicing.' He would do it for fun a lot, often leaving all-too-nice emoji's in officer's presentations to superiors, bringing out a lot of red faces on others. It was just his gig.
"Good. I think I found the central AI. I'm going to power it down. You watch and make sure no one-" Dox stopped. He never had seen oddball stare so stiffly; It wasn't his type.
"They already have, Dox." Oddball's face was white- oh wait, that was his helmet; it was naturally white. Either way something was wrong.
"What?"
Oddy motioned for him to turn around. Dox complied, craning his neck to see-
Dox still stood stunned. The man then spoke, "It's hard not to notice that you need help- and, in turn I'll have you take me away from this rock." He didn't look like he wanted to negotiate that.
"But..." Dox realised also that the jedi was final on that. "...Oh, FINE. You take that side. Oddy, you take the front. I've got some more tricks I can try on this thing."
Dox recieved an affirmative from both of them. Then he set to work. The main processing unit should be...

"Dox?" Oddball called.
"I'm hurrying." Dox quickly assured him. Artificial Intelligence was now offline, The map navigational reroute would be...
"Dox?"
"Hold on," Dox assured him
"DOX?"
"I've almost-" But before Dox could finish, the clap of a blaster bolt sizzled by straight above his left shoulder, sounding loudly in his helmet audio pickup. "Okay, no rerouting. I'm going to have to control it myself. Hang on to it!" He Yelled.
"Hold on, I'm not ready!" Oddball yelled as he popped off a shot through the stormtrooper squad that had now started firing at them. "I hope you have spare ammo packs, Dox."
"Yea, we're sure going to need them," The 'Jedi' yelled. Already, a trooper had fallen over from a blast the Jedi had sent into his stomach.
"Agh, You guys are terrible at planning!" Yelled the frustrated Jedi. "Why did I agree to help?" Already, there was two more trooers on the ground. This guy was an amazing shot!
The speeder Jolted forward, Coincidentally and rather nicely knocking over half of the reinforcement squad that had just arrived. It then proceeded, with Dox unable to stop it, and then the speeder dashed right into the base's one-and-only Tie Interceptor.
"Oh, whoops. I'm sorry." Dox apologized, "I didn't mean for that. Whatever."
Dox then realized that Oddball had also fallen off. "Get back in, Oddy!"
As quickly as the speeder had started, it died, then started again, bolting backwards and then forward at full speed towards the exit of the Imperial Depot.
"Wait, don't leave me!" Oddball yelled as he leaped on at the last second.
The speeder-transport zipped past the gate, whith Dox again seeing another seargeant. This one barely made it out of the way in time, unlike the other two who got knuckled and shot at.
"They must give out the seargeant rank just for volunteering." Dox mused. The irony of it all: that was probably true.
"They're not getting any promotions any time soon!" Oddball shouted with glee. He seemed to be really enjoying himself. Good for him, Dox thought. I'm actually really enjoying this, too!
That was really why he was still doing this, and not sitting back on a lawn chair in a retirement center.
At the same time, the troopers at the depot were wishing very much that they were doing the opposite.
"scramble all speeders and pursue that vessel!" The sentry guard yelled, leaping to the top of the guardrail for emphasis.
The troopers were too dizzy and out of breath to comply.
"Now! The TIE's been knocked out, so you'll have to do it!" The sentry guard wailed.
"Yes, sir!" The troopers were finally able to yell back, as they fumbled into the remaining transports.
It only took them so long before they realized that these speeders had the auto guidance function still on, and that they could easily outrun the stolen speeder, which was on manual.

Dox soon realized the same thing. "I think we're in trouble."
They were coming up on a highway. This could be a bit faster and more fatal than what they had done so far...
